Stay Close

Don’t miss a minute of family fun with our variety of accommodations that keep the entire crew together.

“This luxurious boutique resort offers villas which work particularly well with family groups with interconnecting villas which can be booked individually by one family or collectively as several families/or a multi generational family travelling together.” – Travel Loving Family

“Each villa has a terrace facing the ocean, and many have outdoor showers. The most luxurious villas are triplexes with rooftop pools and bars, which can be combined with neighboring units to form houses big enough to fit extended families or groups.” – New York Times

Foodie Families

With two restaurant options and a variety of culinary-inspired excursions, there’s something for every palate at Cap Maison.

“Now, they may not have them on the menu [at The Naked Fisherman], but trust me when I say; ask for the saltfish fritters. They were the best ones we had on the island, and not a treat to be missed. But whatever you choose, the view is the best sauce you could ask for.” – The Londoner

“The hotel’s restaurant – The Cliff at Cap – is among the best, and guests can sign up for a tour of the market in Castries, followed by a private cookery lesson using the purchased local produce.” – The Telegraph

Kids Travel Pool Lovers

Whether your kids travel dream includes playing poolside with the whole family, a quiet dip in the courtyard pool or stealing away for a romantic moment in our rock pool, our resort has no lack of options to cool off after a day in the St. Lucia sun.

“Situated at the edge of a private ocean-bluff, Cap Maison’s infinity pool boasts breathtaking views toward Pigeon Island and Martinique.

Guests are also treated to three other pools – a courtyard pool, a natural rock pool and individual private pools for those staying in an oceanview villa suite. Here at Hero & Leander we are particularly taken by the natural rock pool; a natural pool that fills with sea water as the waves surge to the base of the cliff. It has a submerged bench and is the perfect place for guests to immerse themselves while enjoying a cocktail. Three carved out “ice buckets” are also in the rocks, awaiting a bottle of their choice – perfect!” – Hero & Leander

“#Seclusion: Sophisticated and away from the action, Cap Maison oceanview villas all have private pools.” – Travel & Leisure

Beach Fun

There’s no need to plan a beach day; everything is right at your fingertips at Smuggler’s Cove. While the younger ones adventure in the ocean and play in the sand, you can enjoy a refreshing cocktail close to all the action at the Naked Fisherman, our beachside casual restaurant.

“The resorts secluded little beach ‘Smuggler’s Cove’ can be reached via a staircase of steep steps for a day of relaxing, dining at the ‘Naked Fisherman Restaurant’ or enjoying complimentary kayaking, Hobie Cat sailing and snorkeling.” – Travel Loving Family

Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Top Resorts in the Caribbean 2017

Cap Maison would like to thank all of our wonderful guests who voted for us in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2017 Readers’ Choice Awards, landing us a spot on the Top Resorts in the Caribbean!

Over 300,000 readers submitted millions of ratings and tens of thousands of comments, sharing their recent travel experiences of the world’s cities, islands, hotels, resorts, cruise lines, airlines, and airports—good or bad. And it’s an honor for us to continue to serve you to the highest standards.

At the northern tip of St Lucia, on what used to be the sugar plantation, Cap Maison occupies on a cliff like a small orderly village. This cluster of three-story white buildings has a Spanish (via Caribbean) colonial architectural motif with its characteristic Moorish inflections, painted tiles, and dark wood. The 49 rooms are kitted out with local paintings and richly upholstered furniture (including an oversized chaise longue at the foot of the bed), balconies, louvered shutters, ceiling fans, AC, iPod docks, and Bose speakers, as well as lovely bathrooms with painted ceramic sinks. Some suites come with a private plunge pool but, should you prefer company, there is a small cliff-edge cascading pool as well as a larger one surrounded by chaise longues. At the bottom of a long staircase down to the sea is a small protected beach for swimming and snorkeling. Resort guests also have access to a shiny motor yacht for sunset cruises and day-trips (lunch in Martinique, anyone?). The exceptional restaurant, which overlooks the water, expertly prepares dishes like mahimahi with a garlic brown butter and dark greens. Staff are friendly and solicitous and will arrange meals in your suite or a car and driver, generally catering to your every whim. – Condé Nast Traveler

Thank you again to our amazing guests and visitors for this humbling recognition. We look forward to welcoming you to Saint Lucia again very soon. Please reach out to our Online Concierge for assistance with reserving your stay at Cap Maison.

The Naked Fisherman Debuts Signature Caribbean Beer – Saint Lucian IPA

Known for one-of-a-kind experiences, Cap Maison is excited to announce the creation of our own signature Caribbean beer.

Cap Maison and award winning Saint Lucian craft brewery Antillia Brewing Co. have come together to create The Naked Fisherman St. Lucian India Pale Ale, a complex and hoppy strong ale featuring local ingredients. Welcome to a new standard for Caribbean beer.

The beer will be officially launched on Saturday, March 4, at Cap Maison and will be available for retail purchase at Antillia’s brewery in Odsan (Gros Antillia), as well as their Pointe Seraphine retail beer garden, Petit Antillia.

Our new namesake Caribbean beer features a very local twist. “In designing the beer with Arron Gwinnett, Executive Assistant Manager and Ross Stevenson, General Manager at Cap Maison, we decided to brew a big, bold India Pale Ale and incorporate local citrus into the recipe. The result is a style of beer unique to Saint Lucia,” said Antillia’s Andrew Hashey.

“We pride ourselves on crafting very special Caribbean beers that use unique and fresh local ingredients,” Hashey adds. “Working with the guys at Cap Maison has been a pleasure as they share the philosophy that local and fresh produce is what visitors to the island expect and deserve.”

Named in honor of Cap Mason’s famous Smuggler’s Cove beach restaurant, The Naked Fisherman St. Lucian IPA is a strong ale Caribbean beer, coming in at 7.5% ABV. “The alcohol is wonderfully balanced with malt and hops with a delightful hint of orange and lime. We take pride in providing luxurious guest experiences and, to our knowledge, we are the only resort in the region to have its own luxurious beer,” said Stevenson.

The Naked Fisherman St Lucian India Pale Ale will be available at Cap Maison for EC$40 (approx. £12) for a 75cl bottle.

Antillia Brewing Company specializes in traditional, all natural ales. In addition to a lineup of traditional styles such as the Golden Ale, a wheat beer brewed for the Caribbean climate, Antillia brews a series of St. Lucian Specialty beers using local, fresh agricultural products. Antillia Brewing opened in 2015, with a vision of putting St. Lucia on the craft brewing map and is acknowledged as brewers of the finest craft beers in the region.
