Five Great Reasons to come to Cap Maison this Winter
There are Five excellent reasons to visit Cap Maison during the upcoming Winter Season. Whether you are a first time visitor or coming back again you will love the improvements we've been working on.
1. The Naked Fisherman
During our brief autumn break we remodelled our beach area " Smugglers Cove" We've added new shade and sun beds, a restroom facility and best of all created a new restaurant on the beach "The Naked Fisherman" It's a cheeky name we know but like all good names, there is a story that goes with it.
When we were building the resort we noticed that each morning, three local fishermen would come to the cove fairly early and wade into the shallows to cast their nets. Thing was they were stark naked! One of the bonus points was that during the pre opening training sessions, our female staff were conspicuous by their early arrival at the hotel!
The theme is fish and seafood unsurprisingly and we are using only the freshest of the local catch. Seasoned & Grilled to perfection served with fresh crisp salads and vegetables, the only thing you'll need is a chilled glass of Chardonnay or an ice cold beer. For non fish lovers, we'll grill choice cuts of steaks, cutlets and ribs.
2. Chef's Table at Saman House
Each week on selected evenings, the owners are opening their home "Saman House" as a venue for "Chef's Table". Chef Craig Jones, newly returned from a stint in New York at one of our "Pop up Restaurants" has created a series of perfectly balanced menus, which will be served with selected wines from our well stocked cellar. You can pre book a place at one of these events below. Chefs Table will usually be held each Wednesday. Note: "Saman House" is on the Resort property.
3. The Return of Peak to Beach
We are really pleased to relaunch the popular "Peak to Beach" option in collaboration with our good friends at Ladera Resort in the south of the island, overlooking the Pitons. This gives guests a unique opportunity to experience the different charms of this amazing island. Situated at opposite ends of St Lucia, Ladera and Cap Maison are the two iconic, boutique resorts on the island. Both with immaculate standards but with very different styles and designs. Since variety is the "spice of life", Peak to Beach succeeds in making a visit to St Lucia very different and memorable. The two resorts have combined the best they have to offer in two packages with a single price to cover everything. For complete details
